Sorry I haven't been cruising Lj in a while; it seems like ages since I've actually been able to give the compy a good rubdown. I promise I'm still cruising through ye olde f-list and commenting when I can, even if I don't update too often.

And speaking of updating...

In honour of my newfound acceptance into art school, I have here some realistic sketches I did with both graphite and Prismacolour pencil that were included in my portfolio. The first didn't scan particularly well, so I did what I could with Photoshop and attempted to upload it to Photobucket as a .png... However, as you all know, Photobucket deplores me with the burning passion of a thousand flaming suns. So, .JPEG it is.

But look at his face, isn't he sweet? :3

That's Subaru as I'd imagine him rendered realisically. I'm not too keen on the colouring job (I SUCK at colouring), but all in all I'm rather pleased by how he turned out. I really wanted him to look Asian, and have really sweet, kissable lips. Let me know if I succeeded, will you? ;P

And as an added bonus, here is a portrait of Tarja Turunen of past Nightwish fame. She received kind words from the reviewers, so I thought I'd share. She scanned horribly, however, and again, .JPEG. Ah well, better than nothing, no? X/
