I'm three seconds away from commiting bloody ritual suicide all over my computer.

I have been trying to post these fanarts for five days. I shit you not. First I uploaded them on Photobucket by standard procedure, then realised that the files shrunk to a fraction of their size. I tried to upload them as files other than PNGs, but that assraped their quality. So Photobucket was out of the question. What remained was my only alternative... *evil music* GEOCITIES.

So if there's anything wrong with your picture, you'll know why.

_leareth : You are on the receiving end of one of the best fanarts I've ever done. Not shittin'. XD In case you all don't know, Leareth threw me a bunch of words and asked me to draw fanart for them. And damnit, I wish more people would do requests like that. Not only was it a challenge, but it opened up all sorts of creative possibilities. What I ended up doing was juxtaposing a series of images together with a poem by Edgar Allen Poe, titled "To One In Paradise". Of course, whether Seishirou actually made it to paradise is definitely debateable, but the tragic love expressed in the poem was nonetheless one I found apropos. So dammit Leareth, I hope you're happy! XD

mabdese : TB trio you wanted, TB trio you get! X3 I hope you don't mind the naughty undertones...I couldn't help myself. ^.~

etrangere : I have mixed feelings about this one. Instead of my usual excessive layering and meticulous linework, I opted instead to draw this one without outlines and with one layer. The result was something vaguely resonant of French Impressionism, without any real defined lines and a unique colour palate. I really hope you like. ^^

Once again, if you have any problems with these let me know, I'll find some way to get them to you, even if I have to empty my Photobucket account. :/

There's been a lull in the festivities, so I'm taking the oppurtunity to start posting your gifts. I understand everyone's busy with holidays and family and such like, so be sure to leave a comment if you receive your gift so I can know whether to email it to you or whatnot.

Tomorrow my family is celebrating my baby brother's third birthday (yay!), so I may not be able to post any more until later this week. Then comes New Year's, so I hope you'll understand if your gift is a tad belated. :/ I'm working on them at every oppurtunity, so don't think I've dicked you over or whatever. Unless it's in lieu of something very important, I rarely go back on my word. That's my way of the ninja! *coughs* So yeah, EVERYONE will get something who asked for it, so fear not.

For ripedecay : Your promised SetsukaxKotori. I had this one finished very early on, probably due to the fact that it turned me on to no end. O_O The anatomy (esp. Kotori's breasts) ended up looking slightly off after I coloured it, because I used realistic body types and those don't look good outlined. :/ I probably should have neglected the black outline.  Nonetheless, the concept of Setsuka fingering Kotori WITH HER HAIR is enough to make up for that, no? Th image was compressed a great deal when I upladed it. If you'd like it bigger (but lower quality), let me know. Warning: EXTREMELY SMUTTY.  Not for anyone under 17!

For mefiant : Your very own Kamui-Kitten! This comes in two versions, outlined and coloured. With Fuuma-puppy as an added bonus! XD I rather hate the coloured one; you can hardly see Kamui's sexy eyebrows and he looks much less expressive as a result. I dunno, you decide. Enjoy!

For ryuuraigeki : Sexy/romantic SxS. ^^ Forgive the shitty quality of the scan...the original looked so much better. :/ If you want, given that you live in the same state as me, I could send it to you via regular mail. Would that be an option? Let me know if that's what you'd prefer.

Yeah, I haven't posted in a loooong time. Believe it or not, I have quite a bit of artwork I've been working on lately for school and otherwise, but it...isn't fanart. Sorry. :/ I hope I'll get enough time to hop back on the fanart train soon.

In the meantime, here's an oldie but a goodie. I remember a while back I did some portraits for a portfolio, and I decided to use my good buddy choffman  as a model for one of them. Yeah, I drew her. As Subaru. 'Cause she's just so great as him, you know? :3 Anyway, I did a few drafts about a year ago, none of which I was particularly pleased with, so I scrapped the idea up until rather recently. That's when I popped out this baby, which boasts a spectacular bit of shading although I'm nowhere near finishing it.

Clare, you're beautiful, but I just don't feel like shading you. I sowwy. ;__;

One of the unfortunate truths about being locked up in the South Carolina boondocks is WAY TOO MUCH FREE TIME...which usually leads to hours upon hours of video gaming, and the subsequent really random fanart.

I think I just might be the only person obsessed enough with Psychonauts that I actually did fanart for it. It's a bit nutty, actually...I just beat the game yesterday and now I'm in mourning that it's over. It was just...such a spectacular game. With such spectacular characters. Two of which were Sasha Nein and Milla Vodello, who are featured in today's fanart plug.

I fell in love with Sasha right from the start. I just love his stuck-up, "egghead" personality:
Sasha (to Razputin): Imagine something truly horrible jumps out at you. Something so disgusting it simply must die...
And BAM! It's a bunch of tacky antique furtniture. XDXD
Milla is absolutely delightful in her "rhythm", and her sunny personality is such a wonderful balance with Sasha's that it was inevitable that they'd end up paired together. ^^

Well anyway, the real nook here is that I didn't emulate the original style of the characters; click here to see what I mean. Instead I opted to draw them in my own style, just to see how they'd turn out. ;P Even if you're not a fan of Psychonauts and/or never heard of it, give the pic a go--I spent a good four hours on it, and I'm moderately satisfied with it...which for me is a rarity.

That said, here are two ridiculously goofy SxS fanarts that sprung seemily out of nowhere, perhaps from the wierdest possible region of my brain. The first actually had marginal inspiration; it is of course dedicated to ripedecay , who requested an apron!Seishirou in response to a post I had in my RL journal about a silly little game called Psychonauts.  Somehow, the quote from the game couldn't stop associating itself from the image I got from her request...and the subsequent sketch turned out incomprehensible and thoroughly on crack.

The latter has no inspiration other than the fact that I've been meaning to draw something like it for quite some time. I think I had a vision of something of the sort happening and was meaning to write it in fic form, but couldn't find a way to insert it into an actual plot. >.>;; Yeah, fic isn't my strong point. But whoa, the idea just came and bit me in the ass, and it seemed to go hand-in-hand with the above sketch in mutual codependence.

Thus follows the crack:

Haven't posted in ye olde fanarty blog in a while.

In honour of the new (albeit highly SUCKISH) Harry Potter book, we've got a few from the vault.

This one uploaded miraculously well. It is, of course, Remus and Sirius, because they make me squeal like a rabid baboon. And I like the idea of them retaining their doggie habits while snuggling. ^^

And then there's this graphic of Hermione, which I'm so immensely proud of yet horribly disappointed that the quality of the pic got assraped when I uploaded it. *sobs* I worked so hard on it too... Five hours of painstaking detail... Oh, how it aches. ;__; Nonetheless, I'm proud of how it turned out and how the dress looks. Now, I know you'll all be WTF at the darkness of her skin, but that is how I envision her and have since the very first time she appeared in Book I. ;P

(NOTE: Does anyone know a way to compress and upload files without the quality being murdered? If so, do tell...I'd be much obliged. :O Also, if anyone knows of a community to pimp HP fanart, that'd be good to know too. ^^ Thanks!) 

Continuing the vein of X realism, I decided to do some concept sketches of how each X character would look fully rendered in a realistic medium.  I'll eventually do everyone, but, you know.... I had to do my favourite character first. :3

The following sketches are some of my original designs for Karen; the first is more polished, the second more rough and experimental.  For her facial structure I studied actresses like Catherine Zeta-Jones and Nicole Kidman, in order to give her a classy sort of Marilyn-Monroe showgirl look.  I must admit I don't favour the top sketch--I think it's too polished, and not adventurous enough.  The bottom one is much more to my tastes; she looks like she clearly has something on her mind.  The latter is also an experiment as to how Karen would look without bangs.

This final piece of work here is by far my most favourite piece of fanart I've ever done.  I can honestly say I put some good hard work into this one.  Of course, the scanner butchered the shading I busted my ass over, but hey....you can't have everything in life.  It was done on manilla sketch paper, so forgive the yellow tint.  Do refrain from clicking the link if nudity, like, bothers you or something.
